Every great journey starts with a simple passion, and ours began over a decade ago with a shared love for shisha. Over the years, we’ve tried countless shisha experiences, always searching for that perfect blend of flavor and atmosphere. Yet, time and again, we found ourselves disappointed, feeling that something was missing.

We couldn't ignore the fact that Malaysia's shisha scene had remained stagnant. It was the same routine, the same tastes, the same experiences, year after year. It was as if time had stood still in this part of the world, while elsewhere, shisha culture was evolving and flourishing.

This realization sparked something deep within us. We couldn’t just sit back and watch. We had to do something. Not just for ourselves, but for every shisha enthusiast in Malaysia who longed for more but didn’t know where to find it. We believed that shisha could be so much more than what it had become here—more refined, more enjoyable, more memorable.

With that thought in our hearts, we embarked on a journey of learning and discovery. We immersed ourselves in the old-world traditions and the new-world innovations of shisha, traveling to Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Dubai, Germany, and Russia. Each place taught us something new, each experience added to our understanding of what shisha could truly be.

We learned about the artistry and the science behind shisha, the intricate balance of flavors, the precision of technique, and the importance of quality. We experimented, innovated, and perfected our craft, driven by the desire to bring something fresh and extraordinary to Malaysia.

Then came The Red Door KL, a bold step into a new concept. With its red and black-themed interior and breathtaking views of KL city, it was designed for those who crave a modern, urban vibe. We wanted it to be a place where shisha enthusiasts could enjoy not just the flavors but also the sights and sounds of the bustling city around them.

 

Our Goal

Our goal is simple but profound: to satisfy our customers and to show Malaysians what shisha truly means. We wanted to challenge the status quo, to move beyond the idea that shisha is just a casual pastime that leads to discomfort or coughing. We knew, with the right skill, knowledge, and experience, shisha could be something extraordinary.
